  Awesome hike and history about the park.
  $6 parking on weekends but well worth it
  A hike to the water fall is 2 mile. 1 to get there and 1 back. There are other trails that are more challenging .

  We met with our family here today and went for a nice walk to the waterfall. Parking is very limited so be prepared to arrive early morning or park a mile down the hill and walk up the entrance.
  
  Once you’re on the trails, they’re generally wide enough for two people, but nothing more as the downward side of the slope is pretty steep. The trail has its gradual incline with the occasional flats for a quick break and micro terrain downhills. You can expect intermittent stream crossings as you near the waterfall. The trail isn’t overly packed and is children, elderly and dog friendly. I do recommend keeping an eye on your pup as you arrive at the waterfall as the area is more congested with people and other dogs.

  I need to come here more often! It's not far from LA proper, but it feels like a different world. Beautiful scenery and fresh air for an enjoyable hike. There's a waterfall if you go far enough!

  This place is really nice. Having a nicely designed parking lot area with a nature center, picnic areas and nicely kept trails bringing you up a creek to a small water fall. Along the trails there is a Lot of trees and shade to enjoy along the way.

  I love it. It's a nice hike with lots of uphill. I see a lot of families with toddlers, it may be a little much for them. The falls are small and usually pretty crowded, but everyone seems pretty nice. And oh yeah! There's bears!
