  Been seeing this doctor for over 20 years and he is just wonderful! He literally saved my life with an early cancer diagnosis. Definitely worth the wait and he does not rush his patients. He is also a teaching doctor and have met so many students over the years. Very caring bedside manner. His nurse Donna who has also been with him just as long is also wonderful!

  Dr. Szachowicz treats you like a patient. He takes time to explain and always offers multiple solutions. His staff is nice too. Yes, you forgo time in the waiting room because he does not rush his patients out. So expect to wait, it's worth it. He has magazines from 1973, so you can re-live Watergate.

  Best doctor ever! Gone to him for at least 22 years!

  Dr. Don is extremely attentive. He gives you all the time you need to explain why you’re in his office and then asks “Is there anything else.” You might not like sitting in his waiting room, but when it’s your turn he gives you full attention.

  Great Doctor, one of the best I have ever seen, a testament to his ability is he is a teaching doctor for interns. Very friendly and does not rush his patients, really gets to the root of the problem and truly cares.
  
  My husband had an issue and within moments of his description of symptoms Dr. Szachowicz had a theory of what was wrong, tests proved he was right, and turns out he has had it all his life and no other doctor ever diagnosed it. Amazing! A prescription and all problems solved.
  
  Easy bedside manor, smiles easily and makes you feel at ease, even kids.
  
  Great family doctor all around, our whole family goes to him now, and yes, he does run behind in his appointments, but I think that is just because he does not rush his patients. So bring your iPad, and he is worth the wait. I always seem to wait in all doctors office's, but he is worth the wait.
