This beach is my favorite to go to when I want some away time from people. The tides can get gnarly and because the shoreline starts decievingly low it's easy to get smacked by a wave, but it's so peaceful and quiet that you can easily get some well needed beach time all by yourself. Also great for looking for rocks, oyster shells and even crystals!

The whole area is nice enough, people are relaxed. Volleyball spots and lots of open beach, plenty of room to enjoy time out on the sand. Clean, because groups come through and tend often and the beach crews groom the sand regularly. The park on the other side of the street is great too. Close to brunch spots, parking is tight. If you can ride your bike, you should. Might be nice for Playa to install a few bike racks. There weren't any at the parking lots.

Great beach and only 2 miles from my sister property The Ventana Playa Vista.

It is quite close to LAX so there’s some noise. If you don’t mind that, it’s a great little beach. Relatively clean and uncrowded. Within walking distance to Venice and Muscle Beach. Nice place to chill and get your Vitamin D.
